This channel is designed to provide listeners with a range of teachings from great spiritual Masters and to create a meditative mood so that the meaning can go deep and enter your heart. This channel is NOT monetized (and never will be) and is purely for educational/spiritual purposes.
I thoroughly enjoy reading and creating these recordings and am delighted and touched by the many expressions of gratitude I receive. It is an honour to be of service to the Dhamma in this way.
Many people have written to ask how they can make a donation or gift. These teachings are offered freely for all to partake. However, people are welcome to contribute to the daily running costs of our small hermitage and the nun's requisites.
Donations for this purpose can be made via PayPal using the email address: vivekahermitage@gmail.com
Or see our website: vivekahermitage.com/
Alternatively, donations can also be made via ๐๐๐๐ - please contact us on the email above for account details.

Dipa Ma ~ ๐๐๐๐ข๐ญ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ข๐ฌ ๐๐จ๐ฏ๐
A selection of quotes and extracts from teachings of Dipa Ma taken from the website: dipama.com/
Nani Bala Barua (25 March 1911 - 1 September 1989), better known as Dipa Ma, was an Indian meditation teacher of Theravada Buddhism and was of Barua descent. She was a prominent Buddhist master in Asia and also taught in the United States where she influenced the American branch of the Vipassana movement.
Dipa Ma was a woman of extraordinary wisdom, concentration, and lovingkindness.
She was a rare example of a mother and grandmother who became a realized spiritual Master through her unwavering determination and heart. She taught many of the Vipassana Buddhist teachers in the West (including Jack Kornfield, Sharon Salzberg, and Joseph Goldstein), and the stories about her continue to inspire Buddhists and spiritual seekers today.

Maa is a Goddess. We are so lucky to live in this day and age, to have access to the teachings of Hindu saints eventhough we may live on the other side of the planet. Jai Bharat! Jai Maa! Thanks Samaneri Jayasara for sharing this with us โค I am passing through a difficult time and I so needed to hear this message. Thank you ๐
All external phenomena are illusory.
Om Kreem Maha Kalikayai namaha! Jai jai ma! Thank you for this video. Thank you for all of your content. ๐ Your work is a auspicious force for the banishment of ignorance.
Yes, it is so. And so eloquently expressed. Seeing this world of unfathomable Beauty, and surrendering to horrific wounding may seem incompatible. Yet perhaps we are meant to experience the heights of ineffable splendour as well as the depths of human depravity in order to come into the surrendered selfless state....where clearly we are blessed and ONE with the divine milieu. THANK โค YOU, Father Bebe and Dear Sister for sharing your precious golden nuggets of wisdom and enlightenment. ๐๏ธ

Thank you Samaneri for all your dedicated work and the beautiful recordings. I was an ordained monk for 8 years in the Karma Kagyu Linage in which Tilopa is the first human. I've never heard this before and it brought tears to my eyes... I hold dear in my heart the Venerable Lama Yeshe Losal Rinpoche Abbott of Kagyu Samye Ling Monastery in Scotland.
